Today I have a real quick and easy card using the Christmas Tidings Embossing Folder.
Christmas Tidings
I gathered all the Christmas gifts. The the gift bag for packing them. I soon realised that my plan for gifting wasnt going to work. I specifically said ‘choose small gifts to put on your Pinterest Wish List. Well they mostly did … I just saw things for certain people that werent small and werent going to fit. So hence I needed a little card to explain my intent and how it didnt pan out so well.
After deliberating for a while I opted to go with a simple card using the Christmas Tidings Embossing Folder.
I love these types of folders with all words in different directions. The Christmas Tidings one is awesome as it includes some little Christmas images as well. As the words go in different directions it doesnt matter which way you put your embossed piece on your card.
How’d she make that …
So I popped an A5 piece in and ran it through twice lining up the embossing folder for the second run. This was then cut into 4 pieces which were the perfect size to go on one of our Notecards. I simply layered my embossing piece onto Gold Shimmer Specialty Paper, tied a ribbon around it and stuck it to the notecard.
To finish off my card I added a simple ‘with love & hope’ sentiment heat embossed in Gold and cut out with a circle punch. It’s secured under the bow with some glue dots so I didnt have to fuss around with the ribbon to tie the tag on. Easy was the name of the game for this little card and that’s just what we need with the preparation up to Christmas.
This card really was quick, fun and easy to do. I do hope you like it and it inspires you to pull out your embossing folders and make some sweet cards with them.
