Good Afternoon and welcome to another Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop! This week we are sharing different ways to use punches in your projects and I have a sweet Woodland Wonder Project for you!
I love all our Punches! They are great to use to punch out coordinating images or to make a label for a sentiment. I also love to use them for backgrounds, layers, tiling and sweet peekaboo cards like today’s card …
This card was so much fun to make! I love this little Woodland Wonder Stamp Set – it’s so cute! Check it out …
Now I know it was designed to be stamped together to make a tall folding tree card. But hey … this works too! A girl has to have options doesnt she?
I stamped the tree top once and the trunk twice to get all the animals with enough room for punching out. I coloured with Stampin Blends and then punched them out with the 1 1/2″ circle punch. These circles were then sponged around the edge with Balmy Blue Ink and a blending brush.
My top panel has circles punched out using the 1 1/4″ Circle Punch. I punched three down the left side starting in the middle then did two more punches on the diagonal.
The stamped & coloured circles were punched bigger than the top layer circles so it would be easy to attach them to the back of the punched panel. This top panel was then attached to a piece of the Oh So Ombre DSP from Saleabration.
To finish off my card I stamped the sentiment and chopped it up into strips and added a few butterflies.
I do hope you like my Woodland Wonder Punch card.
Let’s go hopping …
