Penguin Playmates

I just love the Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper Pack! Not only does it use the prettiest of colours but it contains Polar Bears, Snowmen, Foxes and Penguins! I love Penguins!!

Check it out …

Did I mention it’s Free!

True! It’s one of the Sale-a-bration rewards so once your order reaches $90 you can choose this paper pack (or any other level 1 reward) as your reward. There’s also no limits on how many you can get as your reward – you just need to shop to earn! Well while stocks last anyways!

Penguin Playmates Gift Bags …

In my Stampin Time video on Tuesday I had fun creating these two gift bags …

How sweet are these bags?? They are so so easy to make and the images are literally cut from the Designer Series Paper!

One cool thing I found when cutting the critters was that the Penguin on the Green Paper can be punched out with the Penguin Builder Punch. You will want to snip around him first so when you punch you dont punch any of the Polar Bear or Fox.

I love it when you work out something cool like this … be sure to watch my video to see my tips when punching the Penguin out …

Easy Gift Bags

Bag 1 … Beautiful Gifts

  • DSP 21cm x 29.7cm
  • Score long side at 7cm, 14cm, 21cm and 28cm
  • Score short side at 6cm

Burnish all score lines then snip corner and flaps as shown in the video.

Use a good strong adhesive like the Multipurpose Glue or Seal+ to seal the side and bottom. You dont want it falling apart once you have a gift inside!

Cut a tag from Basic White. My tag is 6cm x 13cm. I used one of my Christmas Sentiments (from Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set) and simply cut images from the patterned paper.

I’ve decorated my tag with half a Wonderful Snowflake and some adhesive backed sequins.

Punch a hole in the top of your bag with the Trio punch and thread through a ribbon and tie in a bow. The ribbon I’ve used here is the White Glittered Organdy Ribbon

Bag 2 – Merry

  • Cardstock 21cm x 29.7cm
  • DSP – 2 pieces 8cm x 14.5cm
  • Score long side at 2″, 5 1/4″, 7 1/4″ and 10 1/2″
  • Score short side at 2″

Burnish all score lines then snip corner and flaps as shown in the video.

Again, use a good strong adhesive to seal the side and bottom. Nothing worse than making all the effort to make a gift bag for it to fall apart.

Cut a tag from Basic White. This tag is 6.5cm x 13cm. The Merry Sentiment comes from the Time of Giving Stamp Set. Again the images are cut from the patterned paper. Remember, use the Penguin Builder Punch to punch out this Penguin!

Punch a hole in the top of your bag with the Trio punch and thread the ribbons through the hole in the bag top and tag and tie in a double knot. I’ve used the White Glittered Organdy Ribbon and the Fresh Freesia Sheer Ribbon.

I do hope you like my projects today – I sure had fun making them!
