Good Afternoon! It’s Friday so I hope you have a fun weekend planned for the first weekend of Spring. Today I have my fun Sending a Handmade hug card for you using the Crafting with You bundle.

Sending a Handmade Hug
I’m an avid supporter of the Send a Card movement. Well if there isn’t a movement there should be! If people sent more cards via the post then we’d keep more people in jobs – those who make the products to make the cards, those who make the cards and those who deliver the cards! We could just save our economy and keep all those postal workers in employment and stop the Post Offices from being closed.
Crafting with You – what a great name for such a fun bundle! I mean I love crafting with you … and you .. and you … and you! This week I held my first class since my cancer diagnosis last November and it was great to craft with friends again – mind you I may have taken a little nap afterwards.
Crafting with You Bundle
Here’s the bundle …
Look at all those cool stamps and dies! You may remember the name tag I shared previously as I used the same bundle.
Let’s take a closer look at the stamp set …

It contains 4 wonderful sentiments plus some great images that cover many different crafting hobbies. You can mix and match them to your desired theme or hobby!
Then there’s the dies …

Check all those pieces out! We’ve got dies that cut out some of the images and then there’s extra pieces like the Trimmer, basket, snips cotton reels, buttons and an embroidery hoop! I told you it covers most hobbies.
Onto the card …
I loved the idea of the embroidery hoop so wanted to include that in my card.

First I cut my pieces out. I cut two hoops – one in Vanilla and one in Pecan Pie. Using the inner circle of the vanilla I stamped my flowers which I’d coloured with my Stampin Write markers. I then stamped and white embossed my hug sentiment on the Pecan circle.
The card base is Flirty Flamingo with a piece of patterned paper from the Hello, Irresistible 6×6 Paper Pack. I’ve added a layer of embossed vellum to mute the pattern a little and give the card a little more depth.
The embroidery frames were affixed to the vellum first with Seal and Dimensionals. Then I applied more Seal behind the frames to affix the vellum layer to the card. Applying the adhesive behind the frames means you wont see the adhesive used through the vellum.
I do hope you liked today’s card. I had a lot of fun creating it. If you’d like to know more about the card or to order the products used please dont hesitate to ask. I’ll have a list below to click through to go shopping.
Thanks for stopping by and see you latte ..
