Fresh Card Sketch #121

I love doing cards based on sketches so I thought we should do one for the Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop. Today’s sketch comes from Pagemaps. Pagemaps is a great site for sketches. They have sketches for Scrapbook layouts, cards, tags and more!

Here’s our sketch …

Here’s my card …

This card sketch is perfect for using up your offcuts of Designer Series Papers that we all tend to have!

These strips come from the Well Suited Designer Series Paper Pack. Some strips are a little wider than others, some have an angled edge and some have a flag edge on one end and others have it both ends. It’s good to play and mix it up a little.

My card base and layer were chosen to compliment the strips and make them pop.

I completed the card with a simple sentiment from the Handsomely Suited Stamp Set which is stamped in Night of Navy onto Seaside Spray and cut out with one of the Stitched So Sweetly frames.

To finish off my card I added a double Baker’s Twine Bow and a couple of the sweet button cut outs from the Suit & Tie Dies.

This card would look good with any of our papers. Think of all those cut off strips you can now use and make some sweet cards!

Let’s go hopping …

Now it’s time to see what my crafty friends have created for you using this cool sketch …

I do hope you enjoyed seeing all the creations today and we inspired you to use up some of your offcuts instead of popping them in the recycling bin!
