Good Morning! Do you love flowers? if you know me you know I love our Australian Native flowers. Today I have a card for you using the Everlasting Beauty Stamp Set.
Everlasting Beauty
Knowing my love for Australian Flora I knew that I had to get the Everlasting Beauty Stamp Set as soon as I saw it. I mean I have all the flowers in this set in my garden!
For my card today I wanted to case one that was in the catalogue. Then I couldnt decide what to use to colour it with – do I use Stampin’ Blends or do I watercolor? So decided to do one of each!
Watercolor
I started with stamping my images on to our lovely Fluid100 Watercolor paper in Jet Black Stazon then using a water painter I coloured using our inks …
The colours I’ve used were Old Olive, Cajun Craze, Petal Pink, Crushed Curry and Pool Party. I used the Pool Party to do a wash over the white area – this creates depth in the card.
My watercolor layer was layered onto a piece of Lost Lagoon and a pattern from the Irresistible Blooms Designer Series Paper pack. I finished off my card with a banner cut from Lost Lagoon and the sentiment from Scenic Wonders embossed in white.
Stampin’ Blends
To start this card I stamped my images onto Basic White Cardstock using the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I think coloured my flowers with our Stampin’ Blends ..
The Stampin Blends colours I used were Soft Sea Foam, Old Olive, Cajun Craze, Calypso Coral, Petal Pink, Daffodil Delight and Lemon Lolly.
My Floral layer was layered onto a piece of Cajun Craze Cardstock and a pattern from the Irresistible Blooms Designer Series Paper pack. To complete my card I added a banner cut from Cajun Craze and the sentiment from Scenic Wonders embossed in white.
