Approaching Perfection

I love Sale-a-bration and I love the variety in products we can gift our customers for simply doing what they do best – buy Stampin’ Up!

Each year Stampin’ Up! release a sentiment set for Sale-a-bration and usually have some fun and quirky sentiments in it. This year it is no different. We have the fun Approaching Perfection Stamp Set as one of the rewards ….

I love the fun sentiments in this set. The News Flash one is one that just about took my breath away. See each year, on Dad’s birthday, I’d ring him and tell him something to that effect. As you know, my dear Dad passed away in June 2020. I still miss him each and every day.

The bad news/good news stamp is a great one for a little jab at those older than us. Actually they all are a little!

True Love

For today’s card I went with a Black & White theme using the True Love Designer Series Paper pack. I love this pack and I love Black & White patterns as you can leave them as they are or you can colour them with Markers. Today I wanted quick and easy so opted not to colour this one ….

There is something stunningly elegant about Black and White cards. This sentiment fits with the card … perfectly!

I simply cut the strips and the flowers from the True Love Designer Series Paper Pack.

This paper is so gorgeous. You can use it as is or you can colour it with any of our colouring tools – Stampin Blends, Stampin Write markers, Ink Pads and Blending Brushes or Brayer. You can opt to colour it all in or just highlight particular areas. It literally makes you an artist!

I added some Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish off my card and add a little bling. If you decide to add colour to your flowers you can also add the same colour to your Rhinestones using a coordinating Stampin Blends marker. We all love a little coordination – or matchy-matchy!

Let’s go hopping …
