Hi and welcome to another What Will You Stamp Challenge!
This week we are creating with Endless Birthday Wishes …
I love this set and it’s versatility – it really can be used for any occasion or even with your scrapbooking – all those words can be used for many things!
When I started working on the project for today I didnt want it to look like just another card – I mean there’s only one image with it how versatile can it be? Well I looked at all the words and was going to use those then I spied the “It’s my Party Washi Tape” and decided to go with that as I know many love and buy Washi Tape but they just dont use it.
Here’s my card …
The cake on top of the circles was an afterthought and I love how it turned out. I’ve stamped the envelope with Happy Birthday all down the left side – just so the postie knows it’s someone’s birthday!
So the cake didnt get lost in the Washi Backgrounds I layered it on top of a Pink Pirouette Circle and then the Vellum in between. It gives it a soft muted background and the cake still pops and it the focal part of the project.
Now I couldnt just do a card … no I had to do a gift bag as well …
Making this bag was super easy as I used the Gift Bag Punchboard! I love that punchboard – it makes Gift Bags so easy and all I had to do was decide what size to make and the board does the rest – it even tells me what size I need my paper!
Now you cant have a Gift Bag without a tag can you?
So easy – the background is just strips of Washi Tape and I literally just cut a Notecard in half to make my Tag. Again, no thinking required, which is a good thing on a Monday when you’ve only had one coffee!
Now my little cake, being ever so soft, is coloured in Pink Pirouette and Mint Macaron using my Blender Pen. I did go over the cake with my Clear Wink of Stella so it’s all sparkly – the sparkers on the cake have the Gold Wink of Stella on them too!
Now be sure to pop over to the What Will You Stamp Blog and check out what the ladies have created.
We’d love to see what you can create with the Endless Birthday Wishes so why not grab that stamp set and make something today and enter it to the Challenge – you’ll be super organised for the next birthday!

Love the use of the Washi tape but the layering of the cake with the pink circle and white vellum certainly does what you wanted it to. POPS OUT, the gift bag is just delightful.
