Good Evening and thanks for stopping by for another challenge from What Will You Stamp.  This week we are creating with Vertical Greetings ..

Vertical Greetings - Leonie Schroder Independent Stampin Up Demonstrator, Sydney Australia

I love this little set and I’m rather happy it’s made it into the new Annual Catalogue!  Have you arranged your copy?  If not, contact me arrange a copy today!

Vertical Greetings

I love the little topiary trees and all the different sayings and the fact that the sayings are vertical!  I think we need more of those!

My card today was inspired by the little bag sample in the current Annual Catalogue (p. 109)

Card with Watercolour Wash Background using Vertical Greetings by Leonie Schroder Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Sydney Australia

I’ve just put my spin on it.  My new In Colour ribbons havent arrived yet so just had to use the gorgeous new Copper Trim.  I love this stuff – it’s so soft and easy to tie into pretty bows plus it’s shiny too!  You’ll definitely need to add this to your wish list.

How Did She do That?

The background, behind my pot, is simply just a watercolour wash using Berry Burst … I watered it down so it was soft and pretty.

Those pretty Fresh Fig patterned banners are cut from the new Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper. I literally cut it so it was wide enough for the flower print. Then just snipped the ends to create the banner.

The tree top is stamped in Lemon Lime Twist and the Pot is stamped in Fresh Fig – keeping it all in the new In Colour Set!  Well except for the trunk – it was coloured with my Soft Suede Marker. I embellished my tree with some Basic Jewel Pearls.

I do love how this card turned out and I hope you do too!

Now it’s time to head over to the What Will You Stamp Challenge Blog and see what the other ladies have created for you!
