What Will You Stamp – Paisleys and Posies

Welcome to another Challenge from the girls at What Will You Stamp Challenge Blog!

This week we are creating with Paisleys and Posies Stamp Set from the Holiday Catalogue …

I love this set and crossing everything it carries over to the next Annual Catalogue.  You can purchase it in a bundle with the Framelits which are also pretty awesome.

Today I’ve gone a little masculine with my card …

I wanted to use rich and regal colours for my card and went with Dapper Denim, Pumpkin Pie, Delightful Dijon and Rose Red.  Probably not a combo you’ll see often but I liked how they went together.

Now I made this card with those males in mind so wanted to add an element that wasnt too ‘girly’ like ribbon so came up with this …

Who says you cant put ribbon on a guy’s card?

How Did She Do That?

Don’t you love those ‘threads’?  How cool do they look? I simply took a piece of Dapper Denim and Peekaboo Peach Ruched ribbons and frayed them!  You are then left with the strands and  I just wrapped a piece of Tear n Tape around the threads to hold them together and ensure they wouldn’t fall out. I then stuck them to the back of my oval sentiment with another short piece of Tear and Tape.

I’ve also added some enamel shapes to my card just to lift it a little.

How cool are those new Stitched Shapes Framelits?  They really do make a sentiment pop!  Remember you can get them now till the end of November as an early release – after November they wont be available again until the new Annual Catalogue goes live in June 2017!  They’d make a pretty cool Christmas Present!

Would you like to make this card?  Then click here to register for my Birthday Club Class on 26th November.

I would love to see you create something with the Paisleys and Posies Stamp Set and enter it over at the What Will You Stamp Challenge Blog – we love seeing what everyone makes!
