Good Evening … how nice has this weather been the last week or so … I do love Spring!

Being a Monday its time for another challenge from the What Will You Stamp Blog and this week we are creating with Vintage Leaves …

If you are a regular visitor to my blog you will know that this set is one of my favourites and I love that we also have the Leaflets Framelits so cutting them out is a breeze.

Now I know I mentioned I love Spring – well I do for it’s warmer weather and maybe also for my birthday but I do also love Autumn – especially the colours of Autumn and here’s the card I created for today’s challenge …

I love the tones and colours you can get by sponging our gorgeous inks onto our cardstock and I needed a ‘blokey’ card as it’s my brother and my brother in law’s birthdays this month!

As I was taking the first photo’s of this card I thought hmm it needs something and not too much so sequins and dots were out so I grabbed my handy dandy Gold Wink of Stella Brush and flicked some more splatters on – it gives a great shimmer to the leaves when held in the right light …

You can see it a little here but it’s really hard to get a good picture of it.

I hope they like their cards and I hope you like what I’ve created today.

Now be sure to head over to the What Will You Stamp Challenge Blog and see what the other ladies have created.  Why not grab your leaves and make a card too? enter it in the challenge and you could be a guest designer!

Thanks for stopping by ..

  1. WOW what stella work on your leaves, the blending of colours with a sponge is amazing. Girl of my own heart with that whisk of sheen on the leaves, and of course that Autumn grunge so finishes it.

    1. Hi Nancy! no trade secrets here 😉 I simply stamped the leaf images on coloured cardstock then sponged different colours on them for the mottled look. Once the card was assembled I flicked Gold Wink of Stella on the whole card. I hope my brother likes it as much as you!
