Good Afternoon … bit dreary here today but grateful for the rain! Today’s card is my Well Said Birthday card and another from my Well Said Class last week and also uses the Waterfront Stamp Set.
Well Said Birthday
We had so much fun last week creating with this sweet bundle. While most of the cards were girlie or feminine I wanted to make a masculine one as well. One of my go-to Stamp Sets for masculine cards is the wonderful Waterfront Stamp Set.
With all the elements and sayings in the Waterfront set you can make many different cards and projects.
To make my panel I stamped the trees first in Basic Gray – this made it easy to know where to place my mountains. The mountains were then stamped in Smokey Slate. I kept stamping the same stamp until I got the ‘range’ I was looking for.
I took the circle stamp and stamped in Smokey Slate but twisted the stamp before lifting it from the cardstock to give the moon definition. The happy was also stamped in Smokey Slate. Birthday is cut in Basic Black using the Well Written Thinlit Dies. I’ve also used the scalloped edgelit from the Be Mine Framelits pack to sit behind my panel.
