Waves of Inspiration

Good Afternoon and welcome to another Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop. Today our theme is Water/Sea and I’ve used the Waves of Inspiration Stamp Set.

Waves of Inspiration

The Waves of Inspiration Stamp Set is an early release from the upcoming Annual Catalogue. It is part of the Waves of the Ocean Suite which is currently available ..

Now I will warn you .. being an early release item not all of the items in this suite will be available in the Annual Catalogue. The Foil Papers, Designer Series Paper and Waves Rhinestones are only available while stocks last. It’s only the Waves of Inspiration Stamp Set and Waves Dies going into the new catalogue. So be sure to get those limited items while you can!

Here’s what I’ve created today …

Oh boy … that wave stamp! First, I inked it up in Pacific Point Ink and stamped it and it wowed me! I did use the Stamparatus to stamp it in case I wanted to go over it. I did use a little tool I’ve made recently to ensure I get a good coverage when using the Stamparatus.

To add more depth to my wave I used a dauber to sponge on some Coastal Cabana and Balmy Blue inks. It really didn’t need much as the stamp does all the work.

The sky is blended softly using the Balmy Blue ink and I’ve added a couple of clouds from the Waves Dies. These are cut from Basic White Cardstock and I used the Wink of Stella to add some shimmer to the clouds and dotted the waves to give it that shimmery glimmery water spray look. Its a bit hard to see but it really glistens.
