Good Morning!

Yesterday I shared two card for my team challenge for Colour Blocking and today I’m sharing with you another way to use this technique.  The final result of this technique gives a ‘Watercolour’ look and its quite easy to gorgeous results.

Here’s a card I made using Autumn Colours – Mossy Meadow, Hello Honey and Tangello Twist …

For this technique you will need …

  • White Cardstock
  • Acrylic Block
  • Classic Ink Pads – 2 colours
  • Stampin Spritzer (filled with water)
  • Stamps
  • Tissues/Paper Towel

All you need to do is ink up your block in your chosen colours making sure the colours dont meet as you dont want to mix your inks on the pad.  Spritz with water and move your block to mix the colours – you may need to add an extra spritz or two if you havent got enough water on your block.  Once you are happy with the mix simply stamp onto your card.  Once the cardstock is dry where you stamped use your stamps to complete your card and embellish accordingly.

Here’s another card done using Blackberry Bliss and Strawberry Slush …
