Do you remember when you were a kid filling a balloon with water and dropping it from a height on someone or throwing it at someone? How fun were those days!
Well my balloons today are not filled with water but they do have a Water Colour Background on the card – it’s a bit hard to throw a water balloon at you over the internet – I’m sure you are grateful for that!
Here’s my card …
This card was made and designed for this month’s Techniques To Go class where we had lots of fun with watercolouring – we played with a couple of different techniques and they loved doing this background and not one card was the same. I love how you have the same tools, same mediums and same instructions yet still have such different and wonderful results!
It just so happens that this card also fell into the brief for this week’s challenge over at Global Design Project!
You should pop over and see what my sweet friend Paula did – she did a watercolour background too but very different to mine!
To see all the entries for this week’s challenge be sure to visit the Global Design Project Blog.
I do hope you like my card today and I would love to come and show you how I made it – you and your friends could even make this card – just let me know what date suites you and we’ll get it organised.
Thanks for stopping by and see you latte ..
Great card Leonie. I love all the different colours and of course the wonderful watercolour background.

Your water colouring took on quite a soft and dreamy feel Leonie – I love it! I am sure your ladies enjoyed playing with water too, lol. Thanks for the shout out – you are a sweetie too! Thanks for playing with us again this week at Global Design Project ?

This looks fantastic. I must try this technique. I bet your customers liked it too. We may need a bit of water spalshed on us today with the heat 🙂
