Good Afternoon and welcome to another Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop. This week we are highlighting Christmas Papers and I have my Warm Wishes card to share with you.

Sending Warm Wishes
I love Christmas and love sending Christmas cards! There’s no better way to send some warm wishes than with the lovely Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper.

How lovely is the Poinsettia Place Paper Pack? It’s got lots of gorgeous designs and some that could definitely be used for occasions other than Christmas! There’s even some designs perfect for masculine cards and projects.
Here’s one of the cards from my Poinsettia Class last weekend …

Dont you just love how this card turned out? I love the colours in the paper with that pop of red from the ribbon. To start I used a 4×4 piece of patterned paper and matted that onto a Garden Green mat then onto my Whisper White Card base.
My sentiment is layered on two circles. One being from the gorgeous Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper pack – I love that filigree pattern!
Now I have to share with you how I made an awesome discovery while making this card and that was that the Stampin’ Seal does not show under the flocked vellum! That’s a huge win for me! My flocked filigree circle is layered on a stitched whisper white circle.

To give my card a little bit of flair I added some Soft Suede Sprigs – these give the card depth and dimension. These were cut using the Poinsettia Dies. I just finished off my card adding a sweet bow using the Real Red Sheer Ribbon.

This is a beautiful card, Leonie! I really love the way you used the flocked paper. You can get quite a lot from a sheet that way!
