Good Afternoon and welcome to another Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop. Today’s theme is Trees and I’ve used the cute Tree Angle Stamp Set.
Tree Angle
I love fun and quirky stamp sets. I also love them even more when there are dies or punches to cut them out! So it’s no wonder that when I saw both the Tree Angle Stamp Set and the Stitched Triangle Dies I had to have them both!
Using these two products with the Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper I made this Slimline Card for you …
I had a bit of fun choosing the non-traditional colours for Christmas. The colours I chose are Flirty Flamingo, Balmy Blue and Mint Macaron.
I wanted to used a few of the elements from the Tree Angle Stamp Set so choose to pop the baubles on in Mint Macaron. The Balmy Blue Glimmer Strip came in handy as I used it as a guide to line up the baubles. Remember to flip the glimmer strip over so if you happen to get ink on the strip it’s on the back.
Then it was time to do the trees! I stamped my trees in several colours before settling on the colour combination of Flirty Flamingo, Balmy Blue and Mint Macaron. Then it was a matter of which order, should I put them in a row, should they be level or staggered … and this is what I decided on (after lots of deliberation I might add!)
I do love how this card turned out and can see me making a few of these Slimline Tree Angle cards. Thinking also, I may try a few different colour combinations too.
I do hope you like my card today too.
Let’s go hopping …
now its time to see what my stamping friends have created for you this week …

Such a pretty card. I love the pastel colours and the way you used the triangles for trees. Thanks for sharing.
