Happy Thursday to You!
I do hope you are having a great week and if you are in Sydney or on the South Coast of NSW you survived those horrid storms. We survived but our retaining wall (and Pergola which was attached to said retaining wall) did not 🙁
If you are in USA I pray those horrid fires are nowhere near you!
On a happier note … Last Sunday I held my Tin of Cards Class. The girls paid in advance so I could order in their kits and stamps so it was super easy setting up as all I had to do was pop the candy in the bowls and pop the Kits and Stamps on the table! Too easy!
Not sure what the Tin of Cards is? well it’s a Project Kit and you can find it on page 110 of the Annual Catalogue. There is a coordinating Stamp Set to go with it! The kit contains all the pieces to make 16 gorgeous cards – 4 each of 4 designs.
The beauty of a kit like this is that you can either …
- give it as a gift for the recipient to make the cards
- make the cards up and give it as a gift
- have the kit on hand for when you need a quick card
- have the cards made up and ready to go when you need one
- keep the tin and tabs and use it to store any cards you’ll make in the future
- use the tin and tabs for a recipe tin
See the ideas and uses are limitless – is that a word? oh well it is now!
Here’s my cards I made according to the instructions you receive in your kit ….
These cards are so sweet and quite easy and quick to put together.
Here’s the ones I made to give you a few more ideas …
The class was lots of fun and we had a great time chatting and catching up. It’s so nice to sit and create and chat and enjoy a coffee and some cake – or mini lemon cheesecakes as the case was!
If you would love to do this kit as class for yourself or with some friends let me know so we can arrange a time and date that suites everyone. We’ll organise the payments ahead of class so it’s all done and taken care of so we can just sit and chat and have fun. I’ll even bring a yummy treat for everyone to eat – I cant promise the mini Lemon cheesecakes but I can promise it will be yummy!
If you want to do just the Kit and I’ll provide the stamps and inks the class will be $50 however if you want the Kit and the Stamp set the bundle costs $75 (that’s actually less than the cost to buy them!). Now if you have some friends who would like to do this too and you arrange 5 people (other than yourself) to attend you can have your kit for free!
If this is something you’d like to do please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions you might have or to simply arrange a day and time – I’d love to share this fun kit with you!
Thanks for stopping by and catch ya latte …
