Good Afternoon and welcome back to the Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hops! We’ve had a bit of a break and getting back into some form of routine. This week’s theme is Love/Hearts and I’ve used the Sweet Talk Suite.

Sweet Talk Suite

As soon as I saw the Sweet Talk Suite I fell in love … no seriously I did. I love the hearts, the sentiments, the papers and the dies – especially that gorgeous little envelope die!

While I’ve been in a bit of a creative slump of late using the search function on Pinterest and Google Images has been great! Lots of ideas there to inspire me to create and now I have quite a few ideas for this little suite.

Here’s the card I’ve made for you today …

I had lots of fun creating this fun little card. With Valentine’s Day next week it will come in handy. However, it’s not a Valentine’s Day specific card. This could be used just to let anyone know you love them.

How’d she make that?

I started with a tall Whisper White Base card. The next layer I’ve cut down for a small border and ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss with the new Dotty Hearts Embossing Folder Duo. As the folder is only half size I’ve just run it through twice with my Whisper White piece.

The mini square envelope was cut from our vellum cardstock. I’ve strategically placed a glue dot to seal my little envelope then popped a little heart to cover.

The hearts with words are simply die cut from the Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper.

I used the Row of Hearts die to cut several colours out – White, Pool Party, Blushing Bride, Coastal Cabana and Highland Heather. I’ve used the heart banner in the blushing bride and taken the inner white hearts to stamp out Love U using the sentiment from the stamp and my Early Espresso Marker.

I’ve finished off my card with some white and silver twine into a bow and added some of the gorgeous Iridescent Rhinestone Jewels.

If you dont have these Rhinestone you need them! If you happen to place an order with me this month for $60 or more you’ll get a pack for free from me!

Let’s go Hopping …

  1. Beautiful! I love that you picked the less traditional colors. I also love your use of the embossing folder twice to cover your panel. Clever girl!
