One item I pray you never find on the Clearance Rack are the gorgeous new Card Thinlits! I have been so busy with Christmas projects and Classes of late I havent had much of a chance to play with mine yet but here’s a card I made a few weeks ago for my Card n Cake class I have – it’s a case from a card made by my lovely friend Connie Stewart ….
Please excuse the podgy finger I needed to use to hold it flat!
Here’s a close up of the front ‘label’ on the card – I stamped the image in Soft Suede then just coloured sections of the border in Blushing Bride and sponged around the edge for the ‘vintage’ look.
The way these cards are designed they turn into a flip type card …
I love adding that extra panel to give you plenty of room to write on … and here’s what’s on the back of the ‘label’ section …
I love this sentiment – it’s from the Field Flowers set. To get the single border across the bottom I simply inked just the bottom section of the frame using my marker and popped it on under the sentiment and for continuation coloured the hearts & flower pieces in again.
