Well not that you’d know it by todays weather – bit of light rain, winds and a rather chilly 16ºC. Although the last couple of days were absolutely lovely at 21ºC and 22ºC – great for drying the washing but I was busy doing demonstrations those days … always the way!
Here is a set of cards that we made at a recent demonstration. I have a few customers that prefer to have a combined demonstration and ‘mini’ stamp a stack.
A couple of these cards (Regal Rose Friends & Eggplant/Moss Simply Said) were received as swaps at a Stampin’ Up!® events however there were no details on the back so if they look like one of yours please let me know so I can give you the credit.
The top card in Chocolate Chip & Bashful blue is one I made for this demonstration. I wanted to let the ladies experience the gorgeous WaterColour Wonder Crayons and Stampin’ Up!®’s great Water colour paper and how easy is it to get great results when you use these products together and they must have as most ‘had to have’ (their words not mine!) the crayons.
Here is the card closer up. Using the Fun and Fast Notes is really fun to use and with greetings in the set that cover most occasions makes a great set to start your stamp collection with.
The Chocolate Satin ribbon just makes any card stylish and using the corner rounder to make the scallop along the bottom of the bashful blue gives it a nice finish.
To choose the colours I knew I wanted to use the Chocolate Chip and Bashful Blue and just used the online Colour Combo’s site to choose the others. Bookmark that site as its a good one to have handy!
So if you feel like some new fresh cards these are a great start!
