If you are anything like me you subscribe to a few different Newsletters to get ideas and see different ways to use your craft products.  Now most of these come out monthly and once you’ve read it you file it away somewhere safe and promptly forget about it!  Well I know I do – its a bit like my Google Reader too although I’ve been training myself to keep items ‘unread’ if I want to recreate them or make something similar.

Then I got to thinking … yeah I know – dangerous stuff!  Anyway I was thinking … wouldnt it be nice if you could get a simple email with just one project in it to do each week.

So from today I’m starting the ‘Thursday Time-Out’ Newsletter. It will include just one project for you to complete and depending on the project I will offer suggestions on how to either swap it around or step it up.

Here is this week’s project ….

Happy Hello
Happy Hello

This card is from the Sale-a-bration Simply Sent Happy Hello Kit!  It comes in a kit to make 8 cards with envelopes and includes the bling and the Baker’s Twine so you have all you need to complete 8 very cute cards!  The greeting is printed on the card so it would also make the perfect gift!

Speaking of gifts …..

This little box is one made from one of the ‘cards’ in the kit – very easy to do and I created this after seeing the one on Barb’s Blog.  These are so easy to make and Barb even has a Tutorial you can download.  I love how Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators are so giving and sharing with their projects!

So with this sweet little Simply Sent kits you could make four of these sweet little Gift Sets including the matching card … and remember this kit is absolutely free when you spend $100 during Sale-a-bration!

I am a strong believer in that one must take a time out for themselves to do something that makes them happy and something for themselves as we all tend to get caught up in the ‘busyness’ of life that we rarely take time for us – this is especially true for mums as we tend to be the last person we do something for and we always leave our needs till last! We all know that if we don’t look after ourselves then its not just us that suffers – the whole family does!  So I urge you to take time out of your busy schedule, whether it be weekly or daily, and do something for you!
