Good Afternoon! Welcome to our very first Social Stamping Blog Host!

The Social Stamping Blog Host is an idea from the lovely Kelly Kent of My PaperCraft Journey to bring us stampers all together to share a project with a theme to share with you!
Social Stamping – Hello
Today is our first Blog Host and our theme is ‘Hello’ and here is my card for today using the Honey Bee Stamp Set …

I love the Honey Bee Stamp Set and have combined it for this card with Artisan Textures Stamp Set and the Sending Flowers Dies.
This is one of those cards that looks a lot harder than it really is. I just used two of the splatter stamps from Artisan Textures Stamp Set with Mango Melody and So Saffron and stamped them diagonally across my card layer. I then stamped the Hello in Memento Tuxedo Black.
My bee is stamped in Memento Tuxedo black onto a scrap piece then coloured with the Mango Melody Stampin Blends combo pack. She is adhered to my card with a couple of dimensionals behind her body.
I’ve embellished with some Blushing Bride flowers using the Sending Flowers Dies (available only until 31st March or while stocks last) and a few randomly placed sequins and a few basic jewel Rhinestones.

Dont you love how Kelly has brought so many stampers together in this Blog Host Project? With all that is happening in the world right now we need to stop, breathe and take some time and do something that encourages and uplifts us. I hope that going through and seeing all the posts has done that and given you some inspiration to make a card to send to someone.
With the Social Distancing we need to abide to it doesnt mean we have to totally cut ourselves off from friends and family.
Why not pop a handmade card in the post and send it to share some hope and love. I know anyone who receives a card will appreciate the fact you thought of them to send them a card. Did you know you can order Postage Stamps from Australia Post and they will send them to you with free shipping? See you dont even have to go to the Post Office!
Let’s all commit to sending just one or two cards this week. Not only will it brighten someone’s day in receiving the card but it will keep a postman in a job!
Thanks for stopping by and see you latte …
