Good Afternoon … well evening! It’s time for another Social Stamping Blog Host and this week’s theme is Friend.

Friend
Today’s ‘Friend’ theme seems a little fitting with current events. We are directed to stay home but I miss my Friends – my tribe – so much! I am sure you know what I’m saying.
So much has changed in such a short time. We used to be able to go out and grab a coffee with a friend, or arrange breakfast with our girlfriends. We did this to bond, to vent, to uplift and encourage each other.
While we can no longer meet up and have that coffee or breakfast out we have become creative in those coffee dates.
I now do mine online via Zoom! Each Saturday I do a Coffee and Card via Zoom. So we have what we are working on and bring our own snacks and coffee. We sit and chat while we craft and sip on our coffee.
Here’s what I made this morning …

I have used the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper for my main image (the bird on a branch) and also for the background behind the Bird Ballad Laser cut card. I do love a little fussy cutting.
The bird is adhered to a Stitched Oval which was run through the Big Shot with the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder.
My little Hello There Sentiment comes from the Here’s a Card Stamp Set. It’s perfect to send to a friend to let them know you are thinking of them.

I have finished my card off with a couple Basic Pearl Jewels.
I also used the flap of the envelope to draw a template onto the Designer Series Paper. Then cut it out with my Paper Snips to pretty up my envelope.

Now all I have to do is work out who to send it to!
Let’s go hopping …

Your fussy cutting skills are next level! This card is so pretty, and how fun that you made it while zooming your friends ?
I made something so so similar to this recently, in different colours but really similar. I love your colours and the scripty embossed background. Stunning xx love these birds.
This is such a pretty card Leonie, the DSP behind the laser cut card looks fabulous.
This is so delicate and pretty Leonie! Just love the details on this card – thank you for sharing!
I don’t think I will ever get sick of these gorgeous laser cut cards. The birds are just meant to be with them. Love this Onie xoxox
So pretty! I feel like I need to get some of those laser cut cards before they go! At least with BYO coffee, the maker knows how you like it! Kelly x
The laser cut card really adds to it and I love the DSP behind it too. I’m glad you love fussy cutting as it looks great. I must admit I’m not a fan of fussy cutting and try to avoid it at all costs.
WOW, you do love fussy cutting. This is awesome. I love the scripty embossed background – what a brilliant way to really highlight the lovely birds.
