Good Morning! Today I am sharing a card I made using the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Embellishment Kit.
Share What You Love
You will find most companies around will have what they call a Mission Statement. One of the things I love about Stampin’ Up! is that they dont have a Mission Statement but rather a Statement of the Heart. I love this term. Stampin’ Up! have shown time and time again that they are a company with Heart. They have many anthropological endeavours over the years they have supported Ronald MacDonald House Charities and are a huge donater to the American Toy Drive each year. Every year, on their Incentive Trips, they do a ‘Service Project’ where they give back to a community depending on where the trip is.
This year they have started a ‘Day of Service’ where they give back to a local business to help in their service to the Community and encourage Demonstrators to do the same. I just love being part of a Company that gives so much back to those less fortunate.
Statement of the Heart
If you purchased the ‘Gotta Have it All’ special early release kit of the Share What You Love Suite in May you would have received the Statement of my Heart Stamp which I’ve used in this frame below.
This was one of the projects we made recently at my Latte Girls Gathering. It is quick and easy and something a little lovely for the girls to display in their homes, at classes or parties.
It’s a great motto to live by. To encourage others, to share with them and to make a difference in the process is a good thing.
Share What You Love Specialty Papers
I did enjoy making today’s card and I do love the Share What You Love Specialty Papers. When you first see them in the catalogue you may be amazed at the cost of this pack. However, there are some things to remember about this pack …
- It’s a double sized pack so you get 24 sheets instead of the usual 12
- The Paper is actually cardstock weight so it’s thick and strong enough to make card bases, boxes and gift bags
- Each sheet has a pearlized finish to the images on it and some patterns are embossed.
So while the outlay is more than a regular pack you’ll find it is worth the money. You may also find you just sit and admire this paper pack for the pretty designs and the gorgeous pearl finish.
The cost per sheet is just $1.95 where the regular ‘Specialty’ papers are $2.02 per sheet.
To create my card I stamped just the word ‘friend’ on one of the tags from the Embellishment Kit. The flowers were cut from the Designer Series Paper. The spray of flowers stamped on the base card are from the ‘Love What You Do’ Stamp Set.
I do hope you like what I’ve created for you today and you take the opportunity to get some of this gorgeous paper. If you would like a free sample pack of this pack simply comment on this post and I’ll contact you for your address. Offer is available to Australian Residents only.
Thanks so much for stopping by today and see you latte ..
