Good Afternoon! Today I’m sharing the stunning Sentimental Rose Card Kit with you.
I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted. It’s actually been a while since I crafted as well. Trying to get back into stamping I thought a good way would be to use one of the Card Kits from the Kits Collection. I chose to use the Sentimental Rose Card Kit and I fell in love with it!
Sentimental Rose Card Kit
The Sentimental Rose Card Kit is such a fun kit to make up. Super easy to do and the little stamp set you get included in the box has various sentiments you can use. So if you dont want to use the Happy Mother’s Day sentiment you can swap it out for Thank You or Happy Birthday or simply use one you have on hand.
What I love about this kit is that it includes a little box and pieces to decorate to pop the finished cards into and gift to a friend.
The cards are stunning too! The kit includes 9 cards all with envelopes. You can make the cards according to the enclosed instructions or vary each one to make them all unique and that little bit different.

While you do get lined envelopes in the kit, which is a bit special, you want to make sure you stamp the fronts as well.
I have a tip for your bows…
A few of the cards have the White Baker’s Twine around layers and tied into a bow.
Now I know many struggle with tying bows. Especially when one is crafting alone and you dont have the benefit of another set of hands for one to place a finger on the knot while you tie a bow. So I have this tip for you …
Simply tie the twine around your layer/s and tie into a double knot. This will not only make it easier to tie a bow but if it happens to come undone it’s easy to do it back up again!
An update from Leonie ..
I know I’ve been a bit absent of late and I apologise for that.
We had our youngest come and stay for a few weeks in December, then my sister had double spinal fusion surgery, then Christmas. So it’s been a bit of a topsy, turvy time which has resulted in me being in a bit of a slump.
I hope to be soon back into crafting and sharing projects and specials on Facebook Lives etc.

With the new year I’m looking at rescheduling some of my Live Video’s on Facebook. I’ll be going Live on Tuesday’s at Two and Friday’s at 8pm.
I am also offering the option to contact me if you’d like to hang out together on Zoom or Facebook for a Craft A Long session. All you need to do is contact me and arrange a day & time – it can just be us or I can invite others .. it’s your choice.
You may have noticed my Blog looks a little different from before. I had arrranged for someone to upload the new look and do some changes but it appears I was mistaken with what would be done. So it’s taken me a few days to get it up to speed and I still have a few things to do. I’d love your feedback on the site. Do you like the front page? or would you prefer just the blog posts and sidebar?
