Oh if only my kids would believe that!!
How typical is it that I buy one new stamp set for my Christmas in July Stamp A Stacks and its the one that gets retired?? Murphy’s Law at its best!
Here is a card that was one of the four the ladies made recently at our Christmas Stamp A Stack.
This is a very cute and quick card to do!
Recipe
Stamps: Holiday Hoopla, Contempo Christmas
Inks: Old Olive, Real Red, Jet Black Stazon
Papers: Whisper White, Real Red, Old Olive, Celebrations DSP
Accessories: Clear Blocks, Scallop Border Punch, Two way glue pen, dazzling diamonds
I just loved making this card as did the ladies who attended!
Using the clear mounted stamps makes it super easy to do your two-step stamping too! The santa is actually three stamps!
If you’d like to grab this set then be quick as its sure to go quickly as its on the Retirement List and bound to be a popular one!

I would also like to thank all those who commented and sent me messages after yesterday’s post about my mum. They are all very much appreciated and I covet your prayers. You dont realise just how much affect one person has on your life or on other’s lives. Mum was a school teacher and as kids we always went to the school she taught at. While at school this was such a drag as you werent you but you were Mrs Groenenboom’s daughter and this meant being picked on at times but now we are all grown up so many have said what a positive impact she was in their lives and she was! So again, I thank you all for the beautiful messages and continued support xx
Leonie,
I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your Mum. The relationship you have with your Mum is a very special one. I’m sure you have lots of special memories to sustain you throughthis difficult time. My thoughts are with you.
Remember ~
You can shed tears that she has gone … or you can smile because she has lived.
You can close your eyes & pray that she will come back … or you can open your eyes & see all that she has left.
Your heart can be empty because you cannot see her … or you can be full of the love she shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow & live yesterday … or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
You can remember her & only that she has gone … or you can cherish her memory & let it live on.
You can cry & close your mind, be empty & turn your back … or you can do what she’d want ~
Smile, open your eyes, love and go on.
Sincere wishes,
Lynne
