Good Morning and I must say it’s nice to have a cooler day!

I’m off to have a Coffee Catchup with my dear friend Libby and do a little shopping at Koorong.  We havent done coffee all year!

Today’s card is the last one from the Remarkable You Class we did in December …

This card is fun to make and I really do love to Water colour – I find it so relaxing.

Now this  card uses the Double Layer Technique and most tutorials have you stamp on 2 layers at the same time. I prefer to do just one layer and then cut the centre piece out with my Stampin’ Trimmer.  It means you images will line up perfectly and you are using less cardstock!  The matt you use under that centre cut out covers the hole so no one would know if you dont tell them.  We’ll be making one of these in next month’s Technique Class so you might like to register for that – check out all my classes here.

Here’s the inside …

Oh my … yes I did an insert!  Any excuse to Water Colour!

I love these flowers – they remind me of the Magnolia tree my Mum used to have at the house we grew up in at Pendle Hill.

I do hope you like today’s card and know that you’d love this technique too so check out my classes and events and book in today.  Dont worry if you think you’ll forget – I send a reminder text out to all who have RSVP’d!

Thanks for stopping by and see you latte …

  1. Leonie, this comment is in regard to the card that you posted on Wednesday 13th Jan.
I just wanted to thank you so much for sharing your method of using the fine metalic thread. I am a rather new demo who lives in country Vic and I have struggled with using this tread, which I rather like since it was released in June./July.I have tried your method twice and it has worked just the way I have wanted it to and not been able to do. So a very BIG thank you. Enjoy your coffee today. Rosalie.
