Red October Offering

I have a feeling this will be a long post so I’m asking you to please read on to the end.

I’ve been sitting here today looking at the pictures on Facebook and the news sites and for days we’ve been surrounded in smoke although we are a fair distance from any fire. In my 28 years of living here in Campbelltown never have we had the smoke so bad. Reports on Monday said the air pollution scale in Campbelltown was 2500 – its usually around 20 and 50 is considered ‘a risk to one’s health’. Every year we have bushfires but I dont recall them so bad so early – its not even Summer yet!

Volunteer Fire Fighters

I’ve heard of friends who have been evacuated from their homes and I cant imagine the emotions they are going through and I’ve been trying to work out how I can help. 

Well I’ve decided to donate 10% of all sales from October to the NSW Rural Fire Service. The men and women who fight these fires truly are heroes and all these Firefighters all work on a volunteer basis so if I can help them in a small way by donating funds to go towards equipment and supplies then this is one thing I can do and I’m inviting you to help by simply shopping with me in October.

I will be donating 10% of all Sales for October to the NSW Rural Fire Service and all you have to do is go to my online store and place an order with me and 10% of the product total will be donated.
