Raspberry Mojo

I have been wanting to do more challenges lately as I find they ‘unleash’ more creativity from me for some reason and one of my favourite Sketch/Challenge blogs is Mojo Monday!  They have a new sketch or challenge each Monday and I do like their sketches as they are clean and simple.

I was going thru my google reader tonite and realised I only have one day to get this sketch challenge in so better do it today! Its taken my mind off my back pain a bit (with the help of some meds & a nap!)  so thats a good thing right?

This is this week’s sketch and I can see lots of cards using this sketch  so dont be surprised if you see some similar to this one – there’s a Christmas one bouncing around in my head too so will try to get that one out of my head and onto paper – or cardstock as the case may be!

Its a quick and easy birthday card to do and have quite a few birthdays in September so think I’ll make a few more of these to give out!

It only has two stamps on the whole card!

The sentiment is from Occassional Greetings and the flower is from Three Little Words. The patterned paper I’ve used is from the Raspberry Tart Designer Series Paper pack. This card is also good for using up your offcuts or scraps of Designer Series Papers.

This is a side on view of the card which I had hoped would show you the dimension of the card.

I have adhered the flower at the bottom with dimensionals and the layers behind the sentiment both have dimensionals – so there’s dimensionals behind the Kiwi Kiss layer and the Rose Red Scalloped Rectange as well.
