Good Afternoon!  Happy Thursday to you!  Today I have my Quilted Botanical Bliss card to share with you …

Today’s card was inspired by this card by Debra Burgin

Quilted Botanical Bliss

It’s a fun and simple card to make yet so elegant with the addition of that lovely new Tufted Dynamic Embossing Folder.  The tufted layer is done with Vellum Cardstock for a soft elegant feel.  Using fast fuse to adhere my vellum prevents you from seeing the adhesive when it’s attached.

This card would delight all your quilting and sewing friends!

Making the tag I struggled for a while trying to line up the the die cut flower to the Vanilla Tag and then it dawned on my how to do it and much easier!

Check out today’s Facebook Live Video and see how I put it together.  It’s much easier than me trying to put it into words for you!  I’ll show you how to cut and assemble your tag and also how to adhere that vellum to your card base without the adhesive showing.

My sample card above shows the ‘friend’ stamp stamped on the stitched label just in Memento Tuxedo Black.  In class we stamped in versamark and then used Black Embossing powder and heat set it.  Heat Embossing just adds a little extra ‘wow’ to your projects.

I do hope you like today’s card.  The Botanical Bliss bundle really is such a sweet Bundle and you can make many different projects with it.  I will be sharing more projects from class over the next week or so.

It’s a Long Weekend here so hubby and I are off to see Floriade in Canberra and catch up with some dear friends.

Thanks so much for stopping by and see you latte ..
