Good Morning!
It must be the third Friday of the month as we have another Blog Hop from the Latte Girls for you and today we are getting our Project Life by Stampin’ Up! on!
Do you have a bundle of photo’s in Boxes or maybe have them all stored (and forgotten) on a hard drive or cd like I do? Do you find traditional scrapbooking or memory keeping time consuming and/or overwhelming and expensive? I may just have the solution you are looking for! There is no gluing, no cropping, no umpteen billion embellishments. With Project Life by Stampin’ Up! you can create beautiful albums that are affordable, quick and easy!
You may have noticed in the past that I didn’t do a lot of Memory Keeping or Scrapbooking. It was way too involved and I tended to deliberate for days on where to put the photo, how many mats, what or how many embellishments should I use and the more you use the more it cost and the more overwhelmed I’d become. Now that Stampin’ Up! have partnered with Becky Higgins – the creator of Project Life – I can now do lovely layouts that are quick and affordable and would love to show you just how easy it can be for you to do the same!
If you are one of my Facebook friends you will know that a few weeks ago I packed up the family (a couple against their will) and took a road trip to Bowral to see the Tulip Festival. I do love Tulips (probably something to do with my Dutch heritage) and have wanted to go for years but it just hadnt happened due to finances, my health or the weather or for whatever reason so this day I decided since I didnt have a class on and it was a gorgeous Spring day we’d go. I took a gazillion photo’s – one of the joys of the digital camera as you can just delete the photo if it doesnt turn out – and here’s a couple of layouts I whipped up yesterday …

It really was a matter of just slipping the photo’s in the pockets and adding the Project Life cards in – you can use these as titles or for journaling. You can even split a photo and pop it into 2 or more pockets for a wonderful effect.
The hardest part was deciding which page layout and which cards to use! Our card collections come in a gorgeous box with 100 cards – all double-sided and in3 different sizes. You will notice here that the cards will also come in both landscape and portait orientation so you’ll have the perfect title every time!
You can also use your stamps to add to your title cards and add accents to photo’s …

You can even use the pockets to include a program or tickets for an event …

The 12×12 Page Variety pack is awesome value with 6 different layouts and 2 of each for at less than $1 each! Told you it was affordable!
If you think 12×12 is too big then maybe the 6×8 size would suite you better?

This layout was so quick and easy and with the Project Life by Stampin’ Up! cutting the photo’s down was so easy … I just lined up my framelit over the photo and cut it out with the Big Shot – super easy.

We also still have full page sleeves in both sizes so you can still do traditional Scrapbooking if you wanted to. This one above is just one photo on a piece of Designer Series Paper with journalling direct on the paper plus the Hooray banner is one I cut down from a 4×4 card. The arrow embellishments come in our Accessory Packs!
Now … with all these photo’s you are using you know you can use the sleeves and their pockets to set aside cards and photo’s for the next layout so they are ready to go when time permits …

Another alternative for storing your photo’s neatly is our Wood Mount Cases …

I do hope you like the look of Project Life by Stampin’ Up! and you like the layouts I’ve created.
I really would love to show you how easy this system really is and you dont need to be creative or crafty to do it! Why not contact me to find out when my next Project Life Gathering is or arrange to have a demonstration in your home for you and your friends.
Can you imagine the stories and laughs you’ll share together recording your memories? It’s going to be lots of fun and something the whole family can reminisce over when your done and years into the future.
Now be sure to hop around to see what all the Latte Girls have created with Project Life by Stampin’ Up! and to help you here’s a list of the Latte Girls for the Blog Hop …

Thanks for stopping by ….
Those photos are stunning and so are your pages. I love your storage idea too. Thanks for sharing your inspiration
I love your layouts Leonie. Tulips are one of my favourite flowers too. I just love how quick a page goes together and how now you actually will be able to enjoy the photos instead of trying to remember where they are. Thanks for sharing and great inspiration.
Oh wow Leonie, the photos from the tulip festival are so vibrant. I love what you’ve done with them.
