Good Afternoon … hope you are staying warm on this cool wintery day.
I have my new Catalogue Launch this Sunday so thought it was time to crack open my Project Life kit and use the new printer hubby has bought me to print photo’s for my Project Life pages.
I dont consider myself a Scrapbooker although I have done a few layouts in the past but they always seemed to take forever as I deliberated about the colours to use, the embellishments and then the placement of the photo’s and then there was the journalling! Some pages took days to complete – and no I’m not kidding!
Then Stampin’ Up! announced their partnership with Becky Higgins and I was like cool. Becky created Project Life a few years back as she wanted a quicker and more simpler way to record her memories and share her story and photo’s instead of just popping them in a shoebox or storing them on her PC – sound like someone else you know?? so ok I dont have shoeboxes but I do have drawers of photo’s! I love the simplicity of Becky’s Project Life system as it still tells your story and records your memories but it is so much quicker and easier – especially on those like me who ‘deliberate’.
So here’s a very quick page I did using our 12×12 layouts about the Stampin’ Up! Convention in Melbourne …
I do have lots more photo’s from the Stampin’ Up! Convention so no doubt you’ll be seeing a few more layouts in the not too distant future. The 12×12 Pocket Pages come in packs of 12 ( 2 each of 6 designs) pages for just $11.95 – thats less than $1 per page so it’s not expensive either!
There are heaps of different layouts so your pages wont all look the same and we will have 6×8 Pocket Pages as well so you’ll have a choice on what size album you’d like to do. Here’s one page that I did very quickly to start off my “Grand Vacation” album …
We have lots of Project Life products you can use to complete your pages and I’m more than happy to come and do a Project Life Private Class with you and your friends should you wish to see what all the fuss is about. All you have to do is contact me to book in your day then just invite your friends and I’ll do the rest!
Here’s a video to give you a little look into Project Life and see how easy it really is …
Did you know that if you were to join Stampin’ Up! you could order Project Life products in your Stampin’ Up! kit?
Also, if you were to join before 30th June you have the choice of 2 Stampin’ Up! kits – either $85 or $169! You’ll enjoy the Demonstrator Discount price on all your products plus the opportunity to earn free products just by doing what you love! You could even earn the Grand Vacation to Hawaii next year! How nice would that be? The girls in the Pandora shop thought it was pretty cool when I told them about the cruise I’ve just been on!
Thanks for stopping by and please, if you have any questions about Project Life, joining up or about Stampin’ Up! in general please do not hesitate to contact me – or let me know and I’ll call you if you’d prefer.
