Yay … it’s Friday again and we’ve made it through another week!
Today’s card features the retiring Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper Stack and was designed using this week’s Mojo Monday sketch …
It’s a great sketch and can be used for many cards so thanks Julie for the sketch! I do love doing sketch challenges as they really do get the ideas going in your head!
Here’s my card …
It’s pretty isnt it? It was super quick and super easy too with just the one stamped image being the Birthday sentiment from Birthday Blooms.
Now remember I said how my little flower punch was my ‘go to’ when I needed something to add to the card – well that’s what it did here. There was a little too much ‘white’ (or vanilla as in this case) so I punched 3 little flowers to fill it in and they blend in with the flowers in the designer series paper too. Not sure I’ll be selling off this punch pack once it’s retired.
Now all I have to do is find someone to send this card to!

I came to find out how to go this card… I don’t get how you did the base with the coral and polka dotted corners… How do you curve them? Thanks.
Hi Sherry … thanks for stopping by. This card is super simple … just a regular card base (I used coral) then I punched two 2 1/2″ circles from the polka dot patterned paper and stuck them to the opposite corners and trimmed of the excess. Then layered the rest and tied the twine around it and stuck it down with dimensionals. Hope this helps – if you need more help let me know. Leonie
