Good Morning … its another fresh morning here and definitely a sign that winter is on its way!
I have wanted to make this card for a while but just hadnt had the time so I made some time last week and am very happy with how it turned out.
How cool are these pansies??
Recipe:
Stamps: Heard from the Heart
Paper: Pale Plum, Old Olive, Elegant Eggplant
Inks: Elegant Eggplant classic ink pad, Elegant Eggplant ReInker, Pumpkin Pie ReInker
Accessories:Â Water Spritzer, Silver Brads, Aqua Painter
This is such a neat way on how to use your Butterfly Punch and I followed the tutorial on Mary Jo Price-Williams blog. They use the ‘floating reinker’ technique are very easy to make and the card is a quick and simple card but you do need to leave the ‘pansies’ to dry which can take a while but I do think the results are totally worth it!
If you would like to learn how to make these Pansies I would love to show you how so ring or email me today to book in your workshop or demonstration.
I have seen these around a lot of late leonie and they are all beautiful and inspiring….now all one needs is time to do them….LOL!!! The purple/plum combo is so delicate and pretty. if u did not have a re-inker…if u pressed ur stamp pad on the lid and used the ink fm that…..wld it be enough?? Just curious?? TFS a truly inspiring card. ooxx
I love these pansies. I’m just wondering if I can justify buying anothe butterfly punch? LOL I will give it some thought. I’ll have to get some re-inkers too. I just never seem to have enough ‘stuff’ and you keep sharing all these wonderful projects and tempting the money from my wallet. Thanks for the inspiration
The pansies are gorgeous! My mum loves pansies, I might have to try this for Mother’s day. Thanks for the inspiration Leonie (and all you do for ESAD) I hope you will accept a Sunshine Blog award from me – deets on my blog. Cheers!
Love the pansies, what a great idea and I always enjoy learning extra uses for our beautiful punches! TFS
Oh I so like those pansies. It’s a lovely card Leonie. TFS
Very clever!
Hi Leonie,
I’ve made some of these recently too. Was just wondering what kind of paper you used? Whisper White? Watercolour Paper? I tried mine on both watercolour paper and glossy and they came out very different. Have not yet tried on plain Whisper White. Would love to know what you used as they look great.
