One thing we dont do often enough is to say Thank You. Today I have my Double Layer Poppy Thanks card for you.
It doesnt take much to say Thanks – whether it be verbally or in a card. It’s one of the things I’ve instilled in my girls since they could talk is to say Thanks. It’s a bit like a smile – it doesnt take much effort but has such an impact on the recipient.
Poppy Thanks
This is such a fun and easy card to make. This is another of my ‘frugal’ cards. You stamp on the one layer of Whisper White then cut the centre panel out with the Stitched Rectangles Dies. The centre panel is then layered onto a piece of Early Espresso. As the Early Espresso mat is larger than the piece cut out it covers the void on the layer below.
My sentiment is simply stamped on a scrap strip of Whisper White and then layered onto the Stitched Rectangle piece. You can use the Mini Chopper (free when you join my team during Saleabration) to trim your sentiment down so it fits neatly inside the stitching.
If you’d like to see how I made the card you can watch my Facebook Live Video from last week …
If you’d prefer you can watch the video on YouTube
Did you see how I added a little extra to the card? To finish off the card I’ve used my Stampin’ Write marker to create a little splatter. It fills the ‘white’ area and gives it a little more distinction.
I do hope you liked today’s card. I also have a little bonus if you purchase the Painted Poppies Stamp Set or Bundle with me by Friday …
Purchase either of these items and you’ll receive 2 free Painted Poppies Tutorials plus you’ll go in the draw to win one of two Peaceful Poppies Elements kits ….
