Good Afternoon and welcome to another serve of Freshly Brewed Projects from the Latte Girls and this week we are serving projects using the Perennial Birthday Stamp Set
Perennial Birthday is an awesome stamp set that coordinates with the Perennial Birthday Project Kit.
For today I have made two Birthday Cards using the Perennial Birthday Stamp Set …
The Pool Party Card is one I cased from the one in the Occasions Catalogue ..
I’ve stamped the dots in opposite corners of the base card to give the card a little depth.
After doing a quick watercolour wash in Pool Party on my square panel I stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black and the flower head in Razzleberry and the leaves in Pear Pizzazz. I coloured the flower and leaves with the same ink and a sponge dauber which made it quick and easy.
Before affixing my layer to the Rich Razzleberry layer I used the blade of my Paper Snips to rough up the edges. This adds texture to your card and the ribbon adds a little elegance.
The second card is a design I love to make with a spray of images, in this case, flowers going across a card …
To start this design I used the larger flower stamping diagonally across the card then I added the leaves. Then it was just a matter of filling in the spaces and white area with the other images. With this set being a Photopolymer it’s easy to see just where you are stamping.
The sentiments are stamped onto a separate strip and placed over the top with a pear pizzazz layer between.
I do hope you like the cards as much as I did making them.
Thanks for stopping by …
