Well Winter is making it’s presence felt is it not? The last few days have been super chilly here and the cooler temperatures are not doing my knees any good hence why I know its only 26 days till I jet out for Salt Lake City compliments of Stampin’ Up! – but I’m not counting! I am, however, really looking forward to some warmer weather! Mind you in 28 days I may be whining about how hot it is there!
This is the third card from my Latte Stamp A Stack the other week and its a case of a card done by fellow demonstrator Jan McAnulty. It is this week’s Thursday Time Out.
Recipe
Stamps: Papillon Potpourri, Itty Bitty Banners, Everything Eleanor
Inks: Midnight Muse, Versamrk, Raspberry Ripple
Paper: Midnight Muse, Primrose Petals (C’ordination), Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Patio Party DSP
Accessories: Big Shot, Hexagon Embossing Folder, Bitty Butterfly Punch, Elegant Butterfly Punch, Apothecary Accents Framelits, Sanding Block, White Bakers Twine, Basic Pearl Jewels
I love this card and although it has many elements it is still quite easy to do. Making this card showed the girls a few different ways to use their Embossing Folders and Framelits. As you can see we only partially embossing the Primrose layer and used the Framelit to create a decorative tag – looks a bit like an Indian Temple doesnt it? Easy to do when you know how and I’d love to show you – I might even take the splurge and make a video for you! Now I did say ‘might’!
Now when I was editing the above photo I thought the card looked a little plain so here are a couple of ways to ‘step it up’ if you’d like to.
Firstly, let’s add a few more pearls ….
What about some sweet little flowers …
I do hope you like this card and my little variations – I would love to show you how to create this card if you’d like to book a party in August.
Dont forget the new Catalogue starts in July so be sure you get your copy from me before I leave for overseas – or you can pre-order one for just $9.95 including shipping.
