Painted Kindness

Good Evening … today I have something a little different for you using the Painted Harvest Stamp set – my Painted Kindness card.

I really enjoyed making this card and I wanted it to be something you could give anyone – either male or female. I also wanted the sentiment to be the main focus.

I had originally intended to use the acorn paper from the Painted Harvest Designer Series Paper pack but it was way too busy so opted to make my own patterned background using the stamps.

Now when I was doing the background I stamped off first then one of my images didnt come out too well so I stamped over the top which gave me the darker image around the edges of the acorn.

I quite liked that look so I stamped over all of them to get the shading and depth around the edges. Sometimes those mistakes turn into cool techniques!

This card also shows how perfectly the Stitched Shapes and Layering Squares framelits coordinate.

I love too how using vellum can give a card more depth just by using it here with the leaves.
