backpack1Well I am packing … to go to Canberra in the morning! I am really looking forward to meeting all the demo’s I know so well from our online groups but also looking forward to those friends interstate that I only get to see once a year (and some twice 😉 )

Speaking of packing …. here’s a gorgeous little back pack I made recently with the lovely new Designer Series Paper pack Good Morning Sunshine.

I followed a tutorial that was rewritten for metric measurements by the very lovely and talented Kerri Hunter – who I will be seeing again this weekend!

These little backpacks are gorgeous and lots of fun to make. You can pop absolutely anything in them so you could make them for a new baby, new job, 21st or any occassion – how about making one for mum for mother’s day and filling it with her favourite things and maybe a pandora or two?? wonder if my hubby will read this?? suppose I’ll find out next weekend!

I’ve used the very lovely Designer brads as the closures on the top flap and the lower pocket and how nice is this paper? I love the colours and the funky design. backpack2

Here’s a photo of the same backpack showing the ‘straps’ at the back!

Now over the next few days I’ll be sharing some projects with you featuring the new Designer Series Papers in the new Idea Book and Catalogue. Why? well not just cos they are all gorgeous but also we have a special promotion in May for the Designer Series Papers.

From 1st – 31st May when you purchase 3 packs of the Designer Series Papers you will receive the fourth set absolutely free! So now is the perfect time to stock up on your papers!

Also, as a special bonus and just through me I will give a special bonus free gift to anyone ordering 6 packs of Designer Series Paper – so not only will you get 2 free packs of Designer Series Papers but you’ll also get an extra freebie from me!

Well I’m off in the morning and hope to be popping in from time to time to share some highlights from convention.

Have a great weekend and dont forget to grab some ‘me’ time and put your feet up and have a cuppa!
