Monday Makes with Blended Blooms

Good Afternoon … well ok it’s more like evening!

This week for our Monday Makes Libby and I are using the Blended Bloom stamp.

Now I’m sure you’ve seen umpteen gazillion cards with this stamp coloured with the Stampin’ Blendabilities however today I used a different technique ….

Recently Libby and I took a roadtrip and visited my dear friend Ann Craig in Canberra. I think it was one of the coldest weekends in Canberra that weekend – just as well we stayed inside and crafted our little hearts out!

Ann showed us how to use our aqua painters to drag the colour from the stamp and with a little work you get some pink hues from the Early Espresso ink.  I’ve also added a touch of Pink Pirouette to enhance the pink.  I love how this flower turned out.

Then just using the pink and brown hues I completed my card and added a little sponging for a rustic look.

Products I used …

I do hope you like this week’s Monday Makes and be sure to check out what Libby made on her blog.

Now if you’d like to see how to make this card why not pop over for tomorrow’s Card and Cake at 10.30am or contact me to arrange your own private class and I’ll show you and your friends how to create a card just like this one!

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check back tomorrow as I’ll have an extra special deal for you!
