Mini Pinch o’ Treat Bags

Good Morning .. I have a super cute project for you today.  They are Mini Pinch o’ Treat Bags and were featured in my July Latte Paper Club.

These bags are so quick and easy to make and would be great for any occasion at all …

Now I made mine in two sizes and it’s quite easy to make them in different heights you just need to adjust one of the measurements for the Patterned Paper.

Latte Paper Club

I mentioned this was one of the projects included in my Latte Paper Club for July and I thought I’d share a little about my Latte Paper Club.   It costs just $35 and you’ll receive a pack of Designer Series Paper, Coordinating Cardstock pack, ribbon and embellishment pack and Tutorials for 4 projects to use your paper pack!  The Ribbon and Embellishment pack contains 1 metre each of 3-4 ribbons that coordinate with your pack plus some coordinating embellishments.  Pretty good value for just $35!

Check out my Latte Paper Club page for all the details and to subscribe.  There’s a different pack each month and the pack for August is the gorgeous Coffee Break Designer Series Paper pack!

Here’s how I created these sweet bags …

  1. Cut a piece of Designer Series paper 76mm x 133mm (3″ x 5 1/4″)
  2. Score along the long side at 31mm, 63mm, 89mm and 127mm (1 1/4″, 2 1/2″, 3 3/4″ and 5″)
  3. Rotate 90° and score at 25mm (1″)
  4. Snip tabs up to score line and snip corner piece out (refer to pic below)
  5. Affix Tear n Tape to side piece and one of the bottom tabs and assemble.
  6. Pinch top and secure closed with a clip and a bow.

To make a taller bag simply change the first measurement of the piece of Designer Series paper. My taller bag I cut the paper 102mm x 133mm (4″ x 5 1/4″)

I do hope you have fun creating these sweet bags – they’d make great treats for Birthdays, Halloween or Christmas or even just as a table decoration.
