Welcome to the ESAD Blog Hop where we bid the lovely Mini Catalogue Farewell

ESAD Mini Catalogue Farewell
It’s always sad to bid farewell to a much loved Catalogue. As you know when one door … book … catalogue closes another one opens! First though we want to share some projects with you as a wee Mini Catalogue Farewell party!
Now first you may be wondering what ESAD is?

ESAD is a group on Facebook for Demonstrators in the South Pacific. I started it some 9 years ago after it being on YahooGroups. Wow time flies! So if you happen to be a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand please be sure to contact me for an invite!
It’s so sad when a catalogue ends and some of our much loved Stamp Sets or Bundles retire. What’s even sadder is when you’ve only just got to use it and it’s on the retiring list!
Yes … it’s true … I’ve just got to use the Menagerie Mix Up Bundle and it’s on the retiring list! Noooooo … my gosh it’s such a fun bundle to play with!
Menagerie Mix Up
Check these cards out …

I had so so much fun making these two!
You can literally make oodles of different animals with this set …

They are Christmas specific either! You could make birthday cards, Christmas Cards, Baby cards, Easter cards … the list just goes on!

I’ve created my background with the Trimming the Town Designer Series paper and white cardstock. The Reindeer is all stamped in pieces then assembled. I love colouring with the Stampin Blends – they give such a great look.
I also made this little card …

Now I know that we dont have snow here in Australia at Christmas time .. although looking at the forecast for Victoria this week it might just happen! I got to colour this guy with my new Granite Gray Blends. The addition of the little leaf was my daughter’s idea and is actually one of the ears just coloured green. Apparently she’s claimed this card for one of her friends. The sentiment is from the Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper pack – the sheet with all the words which I cut up and stuck onto the card .
Now … if you have a friend who likes a particular animal how cool would it be to give them a card made just for them?
I have a friend who shows Heifers. One of their Heifers is winning all sorts of medals currently in a competition! Here’s the card I made for her and her family …

Maybe I should have included a prize sash rather than a candy cane?
I’m thinking I may have to make a bear one for my Charlie Bears collecting sister.
Let’s go hopping …
