Good Afternoon and welcome to another Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop with the Latte Girls. This week we have a Christmas in July theme!
Magnolia Lane Suite
Oh my gosh … the Magnolia Lane Suite has turned the Stampin’ Up! world crazy and it’s totally understandable as it’s simply gorgeous!
I had my Magnolia Lane Class last weekend and here’s one of the projects we made ..
This card gives the earthy natural feel from the different elements in it.
The Crumb Cake base gives it ‘grounding’ and the new Fluid 100 Watercolour Paper gives the flower texture and allows the colours to blend together perfectly. To add a vintage feel I’ve run the Designer Series Paper piece through with the Subtle Embossing folder for an extra added bit of texture
I also wanted to use the edgelit that comes in the Magnolia Memory Dies Pack so I cut a piece off the front of the card base and did a little sponging along the edge to define it. I also used my Stampin Write Marker to add a little splatter to the base. The oval from the Stitched Shapes Dies is the perfect fit for the edgelit’s pattern.
I finished my card off with a piece of the Copper Ribbon in a bow and a couple of pearls.
I really loved creating with the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set as it brought back memories of the gorgeous Magnolia Tree my Mum had at our old house.
Let’s go hopping …

Stamp Set Storage Tip
Here’s a Stamp Set storage tip I learned last night from the lovely LeeAnn Greff!
She shared in her Facebook Live Video on how she combines her 2 box Stamp Sets. As you may know some stamp sets, like the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set, comes in two boxes.
Well LeeAnn showed how she combines them and pops them into just one box! Ingenius! So while I listened to her and watched her create some lovely cards I combined my set!
I popped the two inserts into the sleeve of the one case ….
and popped all the stamps into the one box and was delighted they all fit!
Think of all the room I’ll now save and all the extra sets I can now fit in! Winning! Thanks LeeAnn for this wonderful tip!
Thanks for stopping by and see you latte ..
