Our ESAD Cyberstamp weekend was a big one! It started Thursday night with a 3D challenge from Tanya Kitto and a colour challenge set by Mel Sharp.
I havent had a chance to do Tanya’s 3D Challenge but I did give Mel’s colour challenge a go – So Saffron, Basic Gray and Whisper White
Here is my offering for the challenge. It is a case of a card I received from the lovely Fiona Platzer from the Stampin Up in Oz Yahoogroup. I’ve just changed the colours to suite the colour challenge – Fiona sent me a lovely card in pinks and kraft – very pretty indeed! Â Thanks Fiona.
I love this colour combination as it gives such an elegant, soft card. The lilies just make this card dont you think?
The base So Saffron card has the Lily stamp randomly stamped in So Saffron ink.
Both the lilies have been stamped onto Whisper White and then I’ve used the So Saffron Pastel to sponge just in the centre of the flowers for that soft muted look that lilies have.
I’ve coloured the stamen in So Saffron again but using the Stampin Write marker so it comes out darker.
I’ve then cut out the lilies and the one on the right is attached to the card flat using the Snail Adhesive. The lily on the left is lifted by using Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach it to the card.
This makes a lovely quick and easy card for any occassion.
I’ve made a couple of extra samples in different colours to choose from as well – you could make a whole set of these and give them as a gift in a box. Might have to make a class of that so stay tuned for that gift set!
Now I’d better go get the washing out … apparently it doesn’t hang itself out!
Then its definitely time for a latte!

This is gorgeous, Leonie. Fifth Avenue Floral is one of my favorite stamp set. It is so versatile as you have shown us.
Dotty
It really is a lovely stamp set, isn’t it! Might have to take another look at it.
