One of the hardest things I find to do is to make and send Sympathy cards. This year has been so off the charts. Not only with COVID19 and all the restrictions and extra health measures we’ve all had to take but with many of my friends (and family) having loved ones pass away. So I’ve made this card to send some Love & Sympathy
Sending Love & Sympathy
While we’ve all had to distance ourselves and take extra precautions than we normally would, we can still send a card to let others know we are thinking of them and praying for them.
When Dad passed in June we had to limit the number of people who could attend his burial and his memorial service. When I returned from Victoria I was blown away by all the cards I received. Not only from my close friends but from demonstrators all over Australia and some International ones as well. Their simple act of making a card and sending it to me blessed me so much.
If Dad’s passing wasnt enough. My brother and his wife, and my nieces, have had to experience all that again with the passing of my sister in law’s Father. As he lived in Queensland they had to get special permission to travel over the closed border to see him made things that little more frustrating and draining.
So this card has been sent to them.
I’ve used the gorgeous Mountain Air Stamp Set to stamp the trees. These were stamped onto a panel cut out with the Stitched Nested Labels.
My background Vanilla piece is embossed with the Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder. I’ve layered a strip from the World of Good Specialty Designer Series Paper pack. My card base and all the layers are Blackberry Bliss.
It’s never nice to have to send a Sympathy Card. When you cant be with your friends or family during this time it will let them know you care and love them.
