Yesterday I mentioned about the weekend I had in Canberra and the Card Buffet I attended at my lovely friend Ann Craig‘s place.
Today I’m sharing another card I made at the Card Buffet …
This one is a little arty isnt it? Ann makes the loveliest of cards – she was an Art Teacher in a previous life .
This one you use the Watercolor Wash Background stamp and ink it up in two colours then stamp it off, spritz with water lightly and then stamp onto your cardstock. Then you add the Wisteria elements and diecuts.
I loved this design so much I actually made two …
The hope card is the same as the first however I’ve added some dots using another stamp from the Timeless Textures Stamp set.
The words are cut out in Pink Pirouette and then I’ve painted them with the Clear Wink of Stella. The Love I stuck straight to the card with the Fine tip glue pen and the hope I’ve lifted using dimensionals.
I also used the Gold Wink of Stella Brush to flick some extra ‘dots’ on my hope card for a little more texture and hint of gold shimmer.
I love how these turned out and thank Ann for her inspiration and allowing me to add my bits to the card.
Save the Date!
I’m hosting my own Card Buffet on World Cardmaking Day (Weekend)! It’s the first weekend in October which just happens to be our Long Weekend here.
This will be my first Card Buffet and I’m excited to bring this different style of class to you! I’ll have a few designs for you to choose and you choose which you want to do and how many! You pay per card and all proceeds will go to Ronald McDonald House Charities Australia – plus I’ll donate 10% from all the orders over that weekend. They do such a wonderful thing for families with sick kids when they need it the most!
So choose your day and RSVP today!
Thanks for stopping by ..
