Let’s Go Shopping

Last week was my sister’s birthday. She loves books and book shops so using the Let’s Go Shopping bundle from the Les Shoppes Suite Collection was the perfect choice for her card.

It just so happens the Les Shoppes Designer Series Paper Pack has a sheet full of shops and one being a book shop – perfect! We often go out for day trips and regularly say ‘Let’s go Shopping’ before we get out of the car! It could be a bookshop, craft shop, bear shop or a coffee shop!

So I started with cutting out the bookshop then built the card from there.

The rooms above my bookshop were created using the Let’s go Shopping Stamp Set and cut the elements with the dies

I love that I can stamp and colour and then easily cut these pieces out to create my scene. You’ll see I’ve also used the dies for some of the elements on my card like the Lamp Posts, hanging Ivy/Leaves, Pot Plants and park bench.

The ‘stucco’ background was created using the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.
