Diva Sketch Challenge #52Hello and welcome to another Saturday and another Diva Sketch Challenge!

This one is a little different and it wasnt until I’d finished my card that I saw the ‘top’ bit …. oh well.

I’m sure Carol is used to me by now in rotating and changing and swapping and well just anything else and it is a challenge – lol maybe she thinks I’m her challenge??

I had to make a card using Season of Joy for a Stamp A Stack tomorrow at my sister’s house so I thought I’d combine the two and here’s my card.

Joyful SketchI was rather happy with the way it came out and I will apologise to my sister tomorrow for the ‘extra’s’.

She did say traditional Christmas colours but I couldnt help myself – i just had to add the Ballet Blue as it just breaks it up a little. She will also hate that I put some ribbon in there too but the ribbon just lifts it a little.

Stamps: Season of Joy
Paper: Old Olive, Ridinghood Red, Whisper White, Brocade Blue
Inks: Old Olive, Ridinghood Red, Brocade Blue
Accessories: Eyelet Border Punch, White Grosgrain Ribbon

I hope you like this card and if you’d like to get started on your Christmas cards give me a call to book in for your Stamp A Stack!

  1. Great card, Leonie. I like the little touch of blue you added and I think the ribbon is perfect on the card. I really like the eyelet border too. Gorgeous Christmas card!

  2. Yep, once again you’ve risen to the occasion! If your sister doesn’t like the blue, she could use what she likes and the ribbon just finishes it off – great card I think!

  3. That would be PERFECT For a Christmas card – fast and easy but really pretty!
Great use of the sketch 🙂

  4. leonie, this card rocks!!!! you’re not a challenge. you’re “outside the box.” haha.

i love what you do with these things and i look forward to seeing your interpretations.

    great job gf.

  5. Hey Onie,
I love this card, I love the ribbon, I love the blue.
You’re amazing and I am so, so proud of you.
Wish you could come to my house tomorrow instead.
    Love you.

  6. Love this card Leonie. Very festive indeed. First thing I thought of is turn the card sideways and just use the flower and the sentiment fm this set. Great card!!
