Good Afternoon and welcome to another Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop with my crafty friends. Today’s theme is ‘Pretty Petals’ and I have my sweet Hydrangea Posy card for you!

I had fun making this sweet Hydrangea Posy card. Today’s card uses the Suite Sampler Stamp Set – a new Hostess Set available in the new Mini Catalogue. You can get this set with your Stampin Rewards when you host a party with qualifying sales.

I love this stamp set – it’s such a sweet (suite) set! It features an image from a few of our new Suites in the January – June Mini Catalogue. You can use these images on their own or incorporate them with the suites.

Here’s my Hydrangea Posy Card for you using the Suite Sampler Stamp Set along with the Hydrangea Haven Stamp Set.

My card uses Purple Posy cardstock for the base and top layer. On the top layer I have stamped the large Hydrangea flower in versamark and then heat embossed with our White Embossing Powder.

The little flower stamp is inked using my Stampin Write Markers using the direct to rubber technique and then stamped onto Basic White cardstock. I’ve then fussy cut the flower out with my Paper Snips.

The sentiment is also from the Hydrangea Haven Stamp Set – it has some wonderful sentiments. The sentiment is stamped onto Seaside Spray Cardstock and white embossed like the flower on the background.

Behind my sentiment I added some of the White Polka Dot ribbon and the Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon. My card is finished off with the gorgeous Pastel Pearls.
